Eight IPAs Worth Driving For

IPA is the most popular style of craft beer in America. Joe Long, over at Empty Growler, runs down eight IPAs that are worth seeking out. Among those he selected include: Sixpoint Resin, Stone Brewing: Ruination 10th Anniversary, Alpine Beer Co: Nelson, Three Floyds: Live A Rich Life, The Alchemist: Heady Topper, Against The Grain: Citra Ass Down, Hill Farmstead: Double Citra, and Firestone Walker: Double Jack.

Of those mentioned, I’ve only tasted the Sixpoint and Stone — both are superb. Living in Massachusetts, I should be able to get Heady Topper and Double Citra since those come from Vermont breweries. The others might just be a pipe dream because those breweries are in California, Indiana, and Kentucky without wide-spread distribution yet.
